For the past eight years, the city of Kragujevac is home to Arsenal Fest. In a country where the vast majority of events is located in Belgrade and Novi Sad, this festival is like a breath of fresh air. Located in the middle of Serbia, it offers a rare chance for many fans to see some of the most popular bands from the Balkans region, as well as some big names, who would otherwise never come to this town. One of those bands were the British alternative rock destroyers Enter Shikari.
For their first-ever Serbia show, Enter Shikari prepared a Molotov cocktail of never stuff and old favorites and delivered a strong, energetic set. It was noticeable that the crowd wasn't entirely their own, there were quite a few random people in front of the stage, but it didn't hurt the show too much.Enter Shikari is known as a killer live band, and they proved it once more.
Singer, Rou Reynolds is an unstoppable force, with a stage presence worth admiring. He was all over the stage, sometimes even in front of it, getting the crowd in the mood like it's the easiest thing in the world. Actually, for the first few rows, it kinda was - songs like 'The Sights,' 'Anything Could Happen...,' 'Anaesthetist,' or the anthem - 'Sorry You're Not The Winner' were just enough to wreak havoc in the pit. Ending the show with 'Live Outside' seemed like an obvious choice, but it worked. At least until the next time.
