Novi Sad drum and bass collective Drop Sensei will be celebrating its 8th Birthday with a huge party in their hometown, and in line with their previous editions, they opted for crème de la crème - Black Sun Empire. The event will also serve as a promotion of the X Bass program at this year's Exit Festival, and it will be held on March 21st at Novi Sad Fair. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
Black Sum Empire are one of the biggest and most influential names in drum and bass today. With six albums and numerous EP's and compilations, they are one of the defining artists of neurofunk subgenre, while their own label Blackout Music NL is responsible for elevating careers of more than a few names in the subgenre. Playing almost every significant genre-centric event, along with some of the biggest festivals in the world, Black Sun Empire established themselves as one of the best performers in the game. On March 21st, they will have their club premiere in front of the Novi Sad crown.
By headlining the event, the Utrecht trio will join the massive list of the past performers, including Alix Perez, Delta Heavy, Audio, Skeptical, State of Mind, Pythius, continuing the tradition of memorable events. Apart from the massive headliners, the event will host special guests from Bosnia, Fa11out, known for their releases on Cause4Concern and Bad Taste, as well as Croatian Minimalist. Local support will include Buzzin, Bane, Sk3t and Drop Sensei DJ's themselves, while the host duties are given to MC Don Dada.
