Night owls looking for something a little extra this Halloween need look no further - dreamweavers IllumiNaughty are returning to Bowlers Exhibition Centre for their fourth year, bringing together the forces of Love and Chaos for a Halloween extravaganza unlike any other! IllumiNaughty have exploded this year, bringing their unique mix of performance and music to BoomTown Fair, Creamfields, Captured Festival in Ibiza and more.
Set in Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Trafford Park, event attendants will step into what can only be described as an alternate universe, where the Queen of the Damned reigns supreme and the living storyline unfolds in each room. This October, the story will be reaching it’s epic conclusion - four years of build-up to the Grandest of Finales. Will Alice and the Goblin complete their quest? Or will the Queen of the Damned catch her ultimate prey? We will have to wait and see. The storyline will follow revellers as they explore four fully themed rooms, hosting the very best psytrance, drum & bass, bass and metal DJs. This year boasts the event’s best line-up yet -- with headliners Astrix, Bad Company UK and Skindred's Benji Webbe taking to the stage alongside fire breathers, contortionists, stilt walkers and more.
More than 4,000 people attended last year’s event (dubbed UNDERWORLD), with some travelling all the way from mainland Europe to attend what has become one of the biggest parties of the year. IllumiNaughty maestro Lefteris Angelidis said: “Looking back to 2006, when we threw our first party, it’s incredible to think how crazy things have gotten. Every year gets bigger and better. For the final chapter in our IllumiNaughty storyline, we’re pulling out all the stops. We’ve got some of the biggest names performing across all four stages - we started off as a purely psytrance event but our production has evolved, building on the success of each event and exploring new genres and artists.”
From humble beginnings over a decade ago, IllumiNaughty has grown from a one-room nightclub event to an indoor festival, and has now started to host stages at major UK and European festivals. Lefteris said: “With the Halloween story ending, we’re looking forward to taking IllumiNaughty to more cities and festivals throughout the UK and Europe. At this point, it’s more than just a club night. It’s a storyline, it’s a community, it’s a movement - and I’d like to take that experience to as many different places as we can, both in the UK and abroad.”
IllumiNaughty will open its gates on Friday, 26th October from 9pm to 5am. Tickets are currently available for £17.50 for a limited time HERE. And for those that want to keep dancing, IllumiNaughty will be holding an official afterparty until 9am (Line-up still to be announced). The immersive decor at events is provided by Visual Architects, an event decor, lighting, and installation service based in Stockport.
