PREMIERE: Overset unveil debut single 'The Future is Now, Old Man!'

May 17, 2018

Talented Liverpool pop punks Overset have just released their debut single 'The Future is Now, Old Man!' The song is taken from their upcoming debut EP 'Waiting For the Rain to Stop' which is expected this June. The song is accompanied by a video from Matthew Williams, Sam Davies and Owen Siry.

About the video, and the song itself, the band said: "Our debut single, 'The Future is Now, Old Man!' focuses on cutting ties and putting an end to toxic relationships, something we've all had experiences with. The video was filmed in a day in our apartment, and was directed, filmed and edited by Matthew Williams, Sam Davies and Owen Siry."

Formed in late 2017, Liverpool pop-punk band Overset plans to make a strong entrance to the scene in 2018. The band came together through a love of all things pop-punk and an appreciation for the ways their influences have helped them, hoping to one day do the same for others. Inspired by artists such as The Wonder Years and Four Year Strong, Overset hope to engage listeners with tight guitar riffs and honest, relatable lyrics. The band is eagerly awaiting the release of their debut EP 'Waiting For The Rain to Stop,' set for release in June 2018.
