Swedish DJ Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii, died at age 28 on Friday, April 20. His publicist, Diana Baron, confirmed in a statement: "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."
Avicii was a pioneer of the contemporary Electronic Dance Movement, with two MTV Music Awards, one Billboard Music Award and two Grammy nominations, he conquered arenas around the world. His biggest hits include 'Le7els,' 'Wake Me Up!' 'The Days,' and 'You Make Me.' Avicii retired from live performing in 2016, because of the health reasons.
