Machine Head went full punk with the new single 'Bastards'

January 13, 2018

Legendary US metal band Machine Head has gone full punk on their new single 'Bastards.'The song, heavily influenced by punk sound, offers a strong political commentary and the real edge. The song is taken from the band's new record 'Catharsis,' out January 26th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn has always been one to speak his mind, and he minces no words on how he sees the current sociopolitical state of America on the band's biting new song. 'Bastards' was written the day after the last presidential election and inspired by a conversation with his sons.

Flynn recently visited Revolver Magazine HQ where he delivered a powerful a capella poetry-slam version of the song, and it can be heard below.
