American punk rock band Rise Against released a video for their new single 'House On Fire.' Single is taken from their latest record 'Wolves' released in June 2017.
The band worked with director Daniel Carberry, known for his works with the artists like Skylar Grey and R3HAB - in an effort to capture the relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. The clip begins with the innocence of childhood, bleeds into the following coming-of-age years and gives an overall indication of how the actions of individuals can have consequences that can ripple and be felt around the world.
"When you hear it you might hear a kind of classic love-and-loss-like love song ... but the song actually is about becoming a parent," Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath recently said on the 2 Hours with Matt Pinfield podcast. "I like to think I have the world figured out, but once you throw a 13-year-old daughter your way you realize, I have nothing figured out. And this is an incredible challenge that's at the same time worth it."
