The Gaslight Anthem are back, announce ‘The ’59 Sound’ anniversary shows

American punk rock band The Gaslight Anthem are back! The band, who went on hiatus in 2015 announced their first show in three years at The Governors Ball festival in June. On their Facebook page, the band announced they will play 'The ‘59 Sound' ten-anniversary show.

Apart from New York City festival, The Gaslight Anthem also said they will play more shows in celebration of the record, and more information will be announced in the future. The Governors Ball will see them perform alongside acts such as Eminem, N.E.R.D., Jack White, Halsey, The Glitch Mob and many more.

The Gaslight Anthem released their latest record 'Get Hurt' in 2014. Frontman Brian Fallon since released his solo debut 'Painkillers' in 2016, while his sophomore record 'Sleepwalkers' is due for release in February.
