Louis Vuitton sign Lucien Clarke, unleash their first skateboard shoe

Virgil Abloh, the first person of Louis Vuitton's men's wear division announced huge news from the company. For the first time in history, the French fashion company has signed a skateboard, and released a skateboarding shoe. The honor was given to legendary Jamaican skater Lucien Clarke.

“Just signed Jamaica’s own Lucien Clarke to Louis Vuitton as the first skater deal of this type,” shared Abloh on Instagram. “Gave him free reign to design his pro model. Been filming clips for a year now.” The announcement also comes with a brand new ad in Thrasher Magazine and, as both Clarke and Abloh shared - this is just the beginning.

Started in Brussels in 2017 by the two fans with the idea of exploring and connecting cultures they love. From boards and wheels to beats and screams to pens and cans. If you found it here, we love it.
